Seen/Unseen is an evocative narrative that delves into the complexities of mental health decline and the role of therapeutic photography in recovery. Exploring the tension of being watched yet unseen is symbolised by the CCTV camera that monitored the very spot where active dark thoughts first emerged. Through this project’s photographs, hidden struggles of inner turmoil and the secrecy surrounding suicidal ideation unfold. Its images not only reflect a personal mental health journey but also serve as an invitation to others to discover the healing power of therapeutic photography in nature.
